Another Thread Asking For Traffic Source Recommendation

There are a bunch of threads like these, so I'll try to be concise.

I did use the search function to find my answer but most of the results are too broad.

So, I have around $2k budget for testing.
I think I'll start with CPA (not sure whether to do free signup/download offers or product offers).

A good traffic source in my case is probably something beginner-friendly, easy to spy on other ads and quick to optimize.
After reading for a while, I'm considering between native ads, push-notification and CPC.

What do you guys think?

I'm a complete newbie to paid ads so any suggestion is appreciated.

  1. Native has CPC and CPM models:
I would choose CPC to start --
you will only pay for what you get (safer for limited tests (IMO))
  2. Push is CPC bid
  3. By 'CPC' do you mean SEM PPC like Google Ads, et. al?
That is expensive --use for proven offers you have data and experience on ;)
  4. Remember to daily budget, time schedule (day-part) your traffic --slow at first until you understand the platform you are using and can make result oriented modifications. "Don't spend all your money at once"

Yes, by CPC I meant google, bing and FB ads,... I thought that's what they are called.
Thank you, couldn't hope for a better answer.
I think I'll start with native ads, push-notification seems a bit complicated and hard to target properly.
Is there any native ads network you can recommend?
