Amazon Associate Review Process

Hi, i started at the beginning of this month with my Associate account, and I've made 29 sales so far.

Previously, i also had an account that was terminated with this reason: Your Site includes an unapproved use of Amazon trademarked words, images, or reviews (which may include variations or misspellings) and this is a violation of our Trademark Guidelines found here: [link to program policies]. An example of the above violation can be found here: xyz

The first account was running from Sept 27 till Oct 4th, this is my second time trying at this thing and i really hope i dont get booted. I use a telegram channel as my main website/blog. Did anyone get booted for the same reason? if so, what did you do? how did you fix it?

Is it a hard process?
Hell yeah it is. They dont tell you exactly what you do wrong. The first time, after reading the T&C closely, i used screenshots of the amazon product page so thats the likely culprit, i revamped all my posts in my Telegram channel with AI photos of the product instead so im up in the air right now for whether im approved or not

I just hope that its just the photos things. Even tho other telegram channels with 50K or more subscribers blatantly post screenshots like i did and they have been going for years. Fuck amazon associate.

The first account, they said they are gonna pay me for the commissions, but I dont know if they are gonna change their mind when im rejected a second time.

The good thing in all of this is that I didnt get immediately nuked this time after getting the three sales back in oct 15. I wish they'd at least hurry the hell up though cause I got this pit in my stomach all of my work might be for nothing

They're requirements are very well stated on their site. Keep in mind there are approximately 900,000 Amazon Associates and they seem to work with the requirements fine, so I expect if you are diligent and double check your work you can too.

Fuck amazon associate.

That attitude will bleed over into your other work. Not healthy for a business person, or a business, to approach a giant gorilla like Amazon with that attitude.

Thanks for the reply, and sorry for the rash language, I'm just so frustrated. Do you have experience with the amazon trademark violation stuff?

The requirements are stated well, but in the rejection email, they dont exactly point to what you did wrong, unfortunately. I took out the most obvious violation which was the direct screenshots of the amazon product page, but now im up in the air as to where i stand.

I think you need to understand that they expect you to thoroughly know their requirements. They won't tolerate the "guessing game" or the "they'll overlook the small things" game.

I once did some Amazon affiliate marketing, but that was a long time back. It was a strict policy game then as well. I am a stickler for details and I always had my work checked before launching it. I had a few issues they reported occasionally, but they didn't suspend me or my account. I eventually left the program as they began implementing some restrictions I didn't care for and their commission structure became more limited.

Every, and any, form of commitment I make to market on behalf of another company, I completely learn everything available on the companies requirements, instructions, and practices before I in any way launch my marketing.

You did well leaving this program behind. the program policy for it has gotten downright contradictory, and its nigh impossible to be compliant with the rules and still make qualifying sales.

I developed a particular strategy of approach that enabled me to get a conversion rate of 5 . xx with low traffic, with no social media presence at all, im extremely excited about it as the first month results are beyond my wildest expectations. I just really hope after replacing the product screenshot images and complying to the best of my ability to the TOS that im approved. Refreshing my email every hour in anticipation, i dread it. You know the feeling im sure

I'll let you all know if im approved or not
