Hello, this is Dable, a leading global content discovery platform! With this self-serving platform, you can create ad-contents and set the campaigns on our platform, on your own. Moreover, you can expose your ads to over 3,000 premium media in Asian market including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.

Today, we are going to have a look at how to get started with Dable Native Ad. No need to be an advertising expert! Even beginners can use Dable Native Ad with ease. Anyone with a registered business can run ads! Even without ad images, landing web pages, special ad contents, you can start Dable Ad regardless of the size of your ad budget.

1. Create a Dable Ad Account
You need a Dable ad account to run an ad campaign. If this is your first time creating an account, you can sign up on Dable’s homepage.
  • Please enter all the information correctly in the sign-up page.
  • New account creation requests are reviewed within 1 business day (24 hrs).
  • You will receive an email once the request is approved.
2. Register your credit card payment information.
Once you create an account, register your credit card information in Marketing Dashboard – Billing – Credit Card Settings. If the ad spending reaches a certain amount, payment will be processed automatically and if you click the ‘Pay Now’ button, the amount spent so far will be charged immediately.

3. Create Content
Upload images you will use in the ad and enter the title.
  • To create content, you must have a landing page, an ad title and an image (thumbnail image).
  • Make sure your ad image is in the context of the page the ad is live on.

  • Your contents should be approved first to be used in ad campaigns.
  • Contents are reviewed between 10 AM to 6 PM KST(Korea Standard Time) on weekdays and you can check the results within 4 hours after sending request (only if the request was made during the reviewing hours).

4. Create a New Campaign
In the Create Campaign page, you can configure all settings related to campaign management including campaign goals, campaign type (single or multi contents), budget, exposure options, remarketing, region, etc.

5. Results and Reports
In the Performance page, you can see detailed data on ad performance based on time, media, site, campaign, device, contents, etc. You can optimize your content and campaigns and increase ad efficiency by using this data.

"Explore the Marketing Dashboard with Dable"


Dable’s Marketing Dashboard is a place where anyone can create and run an ad campaign. On this dashboard, you will be able to see various data, such as campaign performance reports and media insights to help optimizing your campaign. To access the marketing dashboard, you must first create an account. There are two types of accounts – ‘advertiser account’ for advertisers who run campaigns on their own and ‘agency account’ for agencies who run campaigns on behalf of advertisers.

Once your account is approved, you can log in to the Marketing Dashboard. The first page you will see is the ‘Home’ page. You can check important data such as total budget and performance at a glance. The following is an overview of the ‘Home’ page. Some of the features or menus in the dashboard may not appear to some users depending on their account type and permission level. So you may not be able to find some of the features explained below.

① Username and domains

② Account number, notification, user settings

  • Account number: Unique number for the advertiser account.
  • Notification: Click the bell icon to see important notifications. We send notifications on budget management, campaign status and content review results.
  • User settings: Name used for creating the account or user permissions will appear. You can change your password by clicking on this button.

  • Home : Go to Home.
  • Content : Create and manage content.
  • Campaign : Create and manage campaigns.
  • Performance : See the campaigns’ performance.
  • Media Insight (Beta): See what types of articles have been most viewed by users who clicked on your ad last week. Only works when you installed Dable’s conversion script on your landing page.
  • Billing : Make payment and request refund.
  • Lead Collection : Check the leads collected from lead-collecting campaigns created by Dable’s Editor.
  • Content Creation Service : Request for content creation service and review the proposals. This service is currently available in Korea only.
  • Conversion Script : See which conversion scripts advertisers can use. You can verify the installation in the ‘Verify Installation’ tab.
  • Help Center: Contact Dable directly by clicking ‘Contact Us’. ‘Advertiser Support’ will take you directly to the support page.
  • Settings: Configure various settings such as language, business registration info, email notifications, and API.

④ Budget snapshot
  • Total Budget: Shows current balance. When clicked, you will be directed to the Billing page.
  • Max. Daily Budget: Total amount of currently activated campaigns’ daily budget.
  • Today’s Spent: Total amount spent today.

⑤ Active Campaign, Active Content
You can see the total number of campaigns/content and the number of activated campaigns/content. Click each tab to go to respective tabs. Click ‘Create’ to go to the campaign/content creation page.

⑥ Yesterday’s Performance, 14 Days Performance
You can directly check Yesterday’s and last 14 Days Performance without going to the Performance page.
  • Yesterday’s Performance What you can see: Viewable impressions, vCTR, amount spent Yesterday’s data and comparison data (compared with previous day) are provided
  • 14 Days Performance What you can see: Impressions, viewable impressions, clicks, vCTR, CPC, costs, conversion count, conversion rate, CPA Conversion count and CPA are provided in total of all conversion actions that occurred. You can compare up to 4 metrics at once. Hover the mouse over the graph to see detailed data for a given date.

⑦ Active Campaign Performance
  • You can directly check the performance of the last 14 days of active campaigns.
  • Performance data is the total of all active campaigns’ performance data.
  • Click the name of a campaign to move to its campaign page.
  • Click ‘Create Campaign’ to create a new campaign.
  • Click ‘See Performance of All Campaign’ to go to the Performance page showing each campaign’s performance for the last 14 days.

⑧ Popular Content
  • You can see the top 3 active content in terms of vCTR.
  • Click ‘Create Content’ to create a new content.

Content is an ad creative displayed alongside real-time recommended articles on ad spaces designated for personalized ads on Dable’s partner sites.

Once a content is created, it can be used in multiple campaigns. Dable reviews if the content complies with Dable’s policy. Only approved contents will be served on partner sites.

"Create a content"
In the Content Management page, you can find everything related to contents. You can create, edit, and delete contents here.

"Create new content"
You can either create one content at a time, or create bulk at once. On this page, we will create one content. For details on creating content in bulk by using a form, please feel free to ask me.

There are two types of contents based on the landing page format – Outlink and Dable Content. You can create contents in the following 3 steps:
  1. Select one of the content types (Outlink or Dable Content)
  2. Fill out content details (ad text, image, etc)
  3. Request for review
To create a content, click Create Content on the Content Management page.

1. Select Content Type
- Adding a brand name

Some media partners display the Brand name associated with the ad. Please check if the name of the advertiser or brand/product is correct, as it will be exposed to users. This name should be visible on the landing page.

A. Outlink

Outlink content leads users to a pre-set URL when they click on an ad. Enter a site or page (landing page) URL where users will visit.

  • Please check if the URL opens normally.
  • You can enter different URLs for each device (Desktop/Mobile) or OS (Android/iOS).

B. Dable Content
You can configure a landing page with a simple content and image, without any landing URL. For Dable Contents, you have two options to choose from: Article Type, and Mini Contents Type.

  • Article type: You can create blog/news type contents and show them on Newslab(www.newslab.kr), Dable’s news curation site.
  • Mini content type: You can promote your content in a layered pop-up, instead of leading users to a landing page. You can add a lead collection form in the pop-up window.
2. Content Details
Add ad text and image (thumbnail image) to use in your content. You can also use tracking tools to see what actions users took after clicking your ad.

When creating content, you must comply with Dable’s Content Review Guide. Dable will review your content to see whether or not it complies with the Guide. Only approved content can be served on partner sites.
  • Ad Text: Enter ad titles for external and internal use.
Ad description is optional. If included, your ad can be served on more media.
  • Image: Add a thumbnail image. All images should meet Dable’s Image Creation Guides.
  • Tracking
◦ GA UTM Variable : Dable supports Google Analytics users to easily insert UTM tags. Please enter a site or page (landing page) URL without UTM tags. UTM tag automatically inserts to your URL.
◦ Intergrate Google Campaign Manger: To connect Dable campaign to Google Campaign Manager (DoubleClick Campaign Manager), Insert your Campaign Manager image impression tag and click tag URL into the respective fields
◦ Intergrate Mobile App Attribution Tracking Tool: Clients are able to use tracking tools partnershiped with us. We will continue to add more tracking tools in the future.
◦ You can track user actions happening on your website by installing Dable’s conversion script.

3. Request for content review
After completing content creation and settings, check if there is anything missing. If everything looks good, click the Request Review button.

  • Dable checks to see if the content complies with Dable’s Content Review Guide. Only approved content can be served on partner sites.
  • Operation hours for content review is 10 AM to 6 PM every weekdays, and contents are reviewed in maximum 4 hours.
  • Please prepare your contents with enough time, considering image creation period and unexpected factors (like content disapproval).
If you need to pause for a moment during content creation, click the Next (Saved as draft) button. All data will be automatically saved. Saved content can be found on the Content Management page, with pink background. Simply click on the Edit button to continue creating.
