ZeroPark and Youtube???

Anyone know the relationship of ZeroPark and Youtube. Upon checking the mainstream by target in ZeroPark USA geo, I saw that the number 1 target in terms of volume is Youtube with monthly traffic of 209,668,590. How can this happen? How and where did ZeroPark have access to Youtube traffic. ZP is pop traffic and AFAIK Youtube does not serve pops right? Or am I missing something?

Maybe they are just global numbers?

This is a keyword "youtube". The traffic doesn't come from youtube.com, but rather from sites related to that keyword. Video to mp3 converters, video downloaders, video sharing sites etc.

Thanks for the replies guys! I think this is a specific url and not keyword related as I see it on ZeroPark's target campaign. I also see targets like Google, Facebook, Netflix. I am thinking this is some sort of Adware traffic, any of you guys can confirm?

Aside from being from keywords related to youtube (included in the domain name and also in the website) they can target youtube users with traffic from toolbars so it doesn't matter if youtube serves pop ads or not, people can still see popups when they visit the page if they have a toolbar installed.

Toolbar traffic was super hot years ago although this is decreasing and a lot of pop traffic comes from websites using JS instead.

Thanks Servando! I have also confirmed this with ZeroPark support, these are mainly traffic coming from toolbars.
