How do you improve your copywriting skills? Any pills I can take for that? (not trying to provoke any nutra affiliates here)
One way to improve is to read other work made by copywriters and see what aspects you like about it. When you come across a bad article, try rewriting it so that it sells better and focuses more on the facts. Also practice reading, not as an editor but as a casual audience that is seeing it for the first time. Does it make you want to buy something, click a button, or close the page? Sometimes the analytical side prevents the creative side from creating great work.
It's actually quite easy. Try start writing. have a rest. Read what you've made. Do you like it as average user? Yes, no. Are you willing to buy after reading the text?
No pills can help with that skill, just old simple practise.
