Role base emails are always an issue for marketing people. Reasons is that it affects deliverability because role base email addresses are easily available on the websites and can be harvested by email collector software.

Apart from that, role base email ids are associated with more than one person. Role-based email addresses pull-down engagement rates.

We have been doing this for years. Many new members get upset when we tell them we do not allow role based names as a prefix to their emails. It is a huge problem as they have the highest bounce rates in the world, they can screw with a domains authority values, and dealing with them is an added expense.

*note >> appends a new list each time to the scrubbed_list
if it is a running list (appended) use a single > (write statement)

On response of the subject - It is harmful because these emails statistically often does not exist. That hurts reputation even may lead to blockage.
