Which LATAM GEO Is Most Underrated Right Now?

Brazil gets most of the attention.
Mexico is growing rapidly.

But what about Colombia, Peru, or Chile?
Which LATAM GEO do you think deserves more attention in 2026?
And why?

Uruguay is a smaller market, but with excellent purchasing power and user retention (based on my past as a dating advertiser).

Chile is another one that can do very well - the localization of ads tools and product needs to be very proper though. Latin America requires nuance.

Good point about Uruguay.

It doesn't get mentioned very often, but strong purchasing power and user retention can make smaller GEOs surprisingly attractive.
We also agree on Chile — traffic quality can be strong, but localization often makes the difference between a profitable campaign and a failed one.
One thing we've noticed is that many advertisers still approach LATAM as a single region, while user behavior can vary significantly from country to country.

Have you seen any specific verticals performing particularly well in Uruguay recently?

For me, Honduras deserves more attention in 2026.

While it doesn't get the same attention as Brazil or Mexico, it's still a relatively underexplored market with growing mobile internet adoption and less competition. That can translate into more cost-effective user acquisition for advertisers willing to invest in localized Spanish creatives, mobile-first funnels, and region-specific payment methods.

From what we've seen recently, there's also been a noticeable increase in advertisers targeting Honduras across iGaming, App Installs, and Dating campaigns. As more marketers begin testing the GEO, getting in early could provide a competitive advantage before the market becomes significantly more saturated.

I've been looking more at smaller LATAM GEOs lately, and I think the biggest opportunity is exactly where most advertisers aren't looking yet. Honduras is interesting, but I’d also keep an eye on Paraguay. The volumes are smaller, but competition is much lower and with the right creatives and payment options the traffic can be surprisingly solid. A lot of people underestimate how much localization impacts LATAM campaigns. A Spanish ad that works in Mexico can completely miss in another country. For me, the winners in 2026 will be the advertisers who treat each GEO separately instead of just scaling the same funnel across the region.
