Hi everyone!
Since 2014, I’ve been actively testing different tools for mass communication with clients and leads.
From my own experience, I can highlight:
WhatsApp — fast response and high conversion.
Telegram — convenient segmentation and regional targeting.
Viber — available almost everywhere.
SMS — stable delivery even with large volumes.

Question to the community:
Which channels do you use for mass messaging, and which ones bring the best ROI?

Recently, I came across a platform that combines all these channels in a single dashboard — quite handy for testing. But I’d love to hear your insights: what actually works for you in 2025?
It would be great if you could share your cases or observations!

From experience: WhatsApp works best for B2C with personalization - 70-90% open rates. Telegram is great for crypto/IT audiences - low cost per contact. SMS still works for older demographics and confirmations. Viber is region-dependent - strong in Eastern Europe. ROI depends more on list quality than the channel itself.

I’ve been testing different options for bulk messaging and ended up sticking with ultramsg because their WhatsApp API actually let me manage campaigns without getting blocked fast. SMS felt too limited, and Viber didn’t get much response. With ultramsg, I could send media, use templates, and track replies easily. For lead gen stuff or handling opt-ins, it gave me more freedom to tweak things based on how people responded.

Great topic. From what I’m seeing in 2025, WhatsApp still delivers the highest conversion for warm leads, while Telegram works best for scale, communities, and regional targeting. SMS remains strong for critical alerts and reach, especially where app installs are low. Viber feels market-specific but performs well in certain regions. The real ROI comes when channels are combined and tested together, not used in isolation.

@XAR_ZONE , All these social media gathered all the user base in the name of FREE .. now charge more than SMS in the name of FAST RESPONSE, Convenience and reachabality.

Remember at the end of all, one still need to give a product or service which customer willing to pay and see more value. That gets lost in this SOCIAL MEDIA as its absolutely over crowded ..

In my case best way is still e-mail(gmail) and Whatsapp. Especially because it is possible to create a simple automatic response, which saves me a lot of working time.
However, much depends on the geo you're working in. You'll see different ROI on WhatsApp in Tier 1 than in Tier 2.(due to the popularity of the application in specific countries)

WhatsApp still leads for conversion in my experience. I’ve been running campaigns all year and the open rates there beat SMS by a mile. It’s more expensive per message but the ROI usually justifies the cost if you have a warm list.
