What's Your "Secret to Selling Anything"?

This is of course a play off Harry Browne's fantastic book on sales - The Secret of Selling Anything (If you haven't read this, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy).

Just thought I'd throw the question over the fence to a few of you. What was the one thing that made things "click" for you when it came to sales and marketing?

Cashvertising definitely made a lot of things 'click' for me. It should just be required reading for anyone looking to write good copy.

I got both of these on my Kindle since so many people are recommending them. Can't wait to read them.

I also recommend "Words That Sell" by Richards Bayan. Many ideas if you are looking for "the word" to use in headline or CTA etc.

Reading it.. Just finished reading Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B., PhD Cialdini

Reading this thread I just had to go on Amazon and order Cashvertising, I have it already on my Kindle, but it is hard taking notes in the book on the Kindle...

Anyways, this is a book worth having - I read it already and highly recommend it!
