What's the most unexpected niche you have seen become profitable recently?

With so many micro niches emerging, it's interesting to see which ones are actually generating consistent revenue. Which unexpected niche surprised you the most and what do you think made it profitable?

One trend we’ve been seeing over the past couple months is the rapid growth of iGaming in markets such as Brazil and France. Both GEOs have attracted increasing attention from operators and affiliates, creating strong traffic volumes but also making the competition for quality users much more intense.

Brazil stands out because of its highly engaged audience, strong sports culture, and growing demand for localized betting and casino offers. France, meanwhile, offers a more mature and competitive market where campaign quality, compliance, localization, and precise audience targeting are especially important.

With competition increasing so quickly in Brazil and France, do you think smaller affiliates still have a realistic chance to enter these markets, or is success now mostly dependent on having larger budgets, strong local partnerships and highly localized content?

I still think its absolutely viable for smaller affiliates to enter both Brazil and France markets. While larger budgets will certainly accelerate testing and scaling, I dont believe its the deciding factor. In my experience, successful campaigns are more dependent on continuous and consistent campaign optimization. Testing creatives, refining your targeting, adjusting bids, and understanding reporting data.

I do agree that localized content is just as important as users expect ads, landing pages, and offers that feel native to tehir market. Affiliates who invest in proper localization are much more likely to build trust and improve conversion rates. Combines with ongoing optimizations, that can allow smaller affiliates to compete effectively, even against users with larger budgets.

I agree that having a bigger budget can make things faster, but it doesn’t always guarantee success. Understanding the audience, testing consistently and making the content feel local can make a huge difference.
It’s good to see that smaller affiliates still have opportunities if they focus on strategy and execution rather than just competing on budget.

One thing I've noticed is that many affiliates overestimate how much money they need to get started. In reality, a modest budget can go a long way if it's used intelligently. On our platform, the minimum deposit is just $100, and we've seen plenty of affiliates turn that into profitable campaigns. The key (as you mentioned) is making data-driven decisions, optimizing continuously, and scaling only after you've found what works.
