What would you do if the Internet world shuts down for a whole week?

its theoretically possible
Well, the all-mighty Google isn't doing it
They decline to do that for their own domain --maybe network issues ?

If you are running your own Master DNS BIND9 you could.

But if your are not using DNSSEC that video is meaningless?

It would definitely be an interesting reset! I think the first day would feel strange because so much of our work and communication depends on the internet. After that, I'd probably spend more time reading, exercising, catching up with family and friends in person, and finishing tasks I've been putting off. For businesses, though, it would be a reminder of why having offline backups, local copies of important files, and alternative communication plans is so valuable. A week without the internet would be inconvenient, but it would also show us how dependent we've become on being connected all the time.

That’s a very interesting question, especially considering that our field is directly connected to the internet.

Since it’s summer now, the season of fruits and berries, I think I would just go somewhere outside the city and take an unplanned vacation. But that’s only if I knew the internet would be back in two weeks. :)

If the situation happened suddenly, I honestly can’t even imagine how I would react or what I would start doing.

If it wasn't going to be 100℉ [37.40℃], like today will be; I would clean up my pole barn/garage and service and make needed repairs or modifications to my vehicles as well as fixing/renovating my loader and trailers. Since it is that hot — I would work cleaning in my house in the A/C. That's assuming the electric grid is working. No internet would be boring.

There are things that can happen that you have no control over and most people do not also. Ask the Iranians :(
