Some Ads networks have this cashback feature (The more traffic you purchase - the higher cashback percent you get back to your balance!). What does it mean exactly?

I am interested to knowing the particular Ad network(s) that does this. Could you mention one? I don't think I understand what they specifically do with their cashback feature, but I understand that cashback might include getting back some % of your spent funds back into your account.
