VPN&Proxy traffic for gambling?

Well-Known Member
One of the ad networks I use has VPN&Proxy traffic.
It's relatively inexpensive (for obvious reasons).

I know the security issues with VPN&Proxy traffic --no need to comment on that --that is redundant.

My thought is to use this specifically for crypto gambling offers.

Let's face it --the whole gambling business can be a bit shady, so is crypto, and real gamblers my be using VPN&Proxy traffic for reasons we won't go into (I am thinking) :D

Well, I found a dummy youtube video to promote as a test

log_format main '$host - $remote_addr - $tcpinfo_rtt - $request_time - $remote_user [$time_local] \
- "$request"' '-"$http_user_agent"- $status $body_bytes_sent "$http_referer"' '"$request_body"'\
- "$http_x_forwarded_for";

- "$http_x_forwarded_for"; <<< it will be interesting to see what leaky VPNs (if any) will tell ;)
$10 traffic experiment I guess

Well, I made a fake popup with links to log the click out (attempts) ... :D
Tomorrow afternoon ...

Rock and roll -- just checking the past hour -- better 888 is the hits last hr or so
Crypto casino is hot for middle page
just testing the clicks the traffic is being sent free to site with no affiliation
Customer affinity for the 2 offers on the same popup --> that's all i want to know right now!

updates real time

I am just paying 0.49/CPM Pops

well, it's a horse race :p

let's see if we can push it to my 576 clicks (without busting the bank on fake offers)
the idea here is just to study the users' behavior ;)

forgot to add the GA from the start last 10 min maybe?

update -- what is suprising is the Destop traffic volume :)

update

53/1828
.028

2.8% are clicking the pop to the 'fake' offers cut bait --fish :)

Paying for phantom traffic (par for the course)

Here's what matters right now:
4.9028/54
.090
$0.09 CPC

so:
in theory if 5% buy?
(4.9028/54)/.05
$1.80 CAC customer acquisition cost
in theory if 1% buy?
(4.9028/54)/.01
$9.00 CAC customer acquisition cost

that's too low for what the cryptobot offer would pay $4.48~ unless the 1% would be true?
for the casino offer its probably fine :)

don't do this for SEO

Love the research!

I've not brought myself into the fold of gambling and crypto. I would agree that creativity is likely the key to developing traffic that pays.

We once had a member (Taiwo) that was, and still is, a die hard black hatter devoted to mobile. He has done some huge numbers with gambling. The last we chatted he was well into mid six figures monthly with gambling. He wouldn't ever discuss the details of his traffic for gambling. He often talked about the other traditional CPA traffic he used, but never would give up the info for his gambling niches.

This program is showing 85% updated: 86.7% of my hits out log's stats --that's the closest I have seen in a while ... take note ;) not shaving~
40/46
.869 :)

Traffic is no longer VPN or Proxy BTW
I am going to try another ad network for USA traffic --maybe DE is the afternoon is good? LOL
These visit stats are from G-A BTW
1636035431139.png

20892-8400
>> GA time frame 12492
5694/(20892-8400)=.455 or 54.5% junk/bot traffic

The portion spent on the 'real deal' was about $12
The affiliate program stats have NET (less my test hits) of 99 referrals
12/99
$0.121/Landed referral (that's what matters --not tracking stats IMO)
no (signup or deposit) conversion yet but the landed referrals are a small number right now.

But this program seems like a straight deal -- not a razor shave like others I have seen (unfortunately).

What Google Analytics says about the traffic I bought this week :D:D:D:D Annotated LOL

the pop traffic I am buying
1636656958296.png

IT'Ss bid at $1.8 - 2.00 and after filtering costs $6/CPM
My confidence factor in the click-outs is only 25% so maybe it costs $2 to land a customer really.
So, maybe, it will cost $200 a conversion --there are ways to lose money with a lot less work :p
