UK state benefits

Its actually getting crazy in the UK with the government pulling funding and benefits left, right and center. I was wondering how do other people feel about all these cuts and would it not be better to balance a bit more between taxing and cutting? :unsure:

The recession has hit in the Europe, not just the UK

Cuts are clearly required. There is a lot of wastage which needs to be got a grip of. It is just whether they are making the right cuts.
