Am I doing something wrong here?
0 Clicks?
Is popunder working on mobile any way?

Both campaigns show as PAUSED in that image.

Impressions are shown. Bad creatives + people don't like what they are seeing maybe?

No clicks because you are not using the Postback (s2s)?

I use postback s2s via voluum.
I wasn't using my landing pages in this offers. Popunder was redirected on the offer lander directly.
I have set s2s postback on voluum and the affiliate network (offer) side. I can confirm that I see clicks on the affiliate network side.

Thank you @Graybeard

What does a 'stateless protocol' mean?

Stateless protocols do not require the server to determine the client's previous requests. This allows for more flexibility and scalability when building applications, but it also means that the client needs to send information every time it makes a request. In the case of HTTP, this information is sent in headers.

What is a s2s postback?

A s2s postback is a notification sent from one server to another to confirm that an action has been completed allowing the two servers to talk to each other. In the context of online advertising, a s2s postback is used to track conversions, or actions taken by users after clicking on an ad.

You need to use a tracker to do a postback from the landing page to the tracker if you want to count the clicks from your own landing page; or, Understand how to write code to do this on your server (advanced).

Hi,

This is how the format popunder works. For any other format, you will see clicks in the TrafficStars statistics. You can find landing page click statistics in the affiliate program.

My thoughts first go to the creatives, the landers, and the offer. These are typically at the core of no click/no conversion scenarios.

Who designed the creatives and the landers (pop unders)?

Have you researched the offers successful geos and specifically targeted those geos?

Is a pop-up a landing page?
How do pop-ups compare to landing pages? Pop-ups, on the whole, convert more than landing pages in some niches I'm told (I don't use them) but are often seen as intrusive. Landing pages are typically viewed as user friendly because the visitor chose to be directed to the page.

I would suggest that you use a tracker (there are many choices advertised here by official sources

The simplest method is to add a tracking 'pixel' ( really a JavaScript ) to the HTML of your web page that you are using as a popup/(popunder).

I didn’t use landers for those offers. There were redirections straight to the offers (offer lander).

Pop-up is a landing page.

This is an adult site. As I have checked at adplexity adult, other affiliates were doing a pure redirect to the offer too.

Anyway, as I checked there were impressions on the offer side (AN stats). So I guess this is how the popunder works (according to @TrafficStars) :)

I have set s2s postback on voluum and the affiliate network (offer) side.
Then no one is buying (a conversion) that is not the same as the raw clicks
Popunder was redirected on the offer lander directly.
Then you need to redirect on your server and do a counting.

This is a 'man in the middle' see advanced.

In theory direct linking should work. In reality, the sales conversion funnels of a lot of these offer/sponsor landing pages are not very strong and do not offer a motivating value proposition.

You will go through a lot of gambling/casino offers until you find a winner that makes you consistent money. Also the laws in NL may be a part of the problem. GEO is very important.

It's really hard to tell if the traffic is bad or the target website is made poorly and doesn't convert.

Last year I tried working with a new gambling site using a softswiss.com back-end software for the accounting and the database. It was really quite sophisticated with a lot of post back information.

That said, the creatives, or the front end, that the user saw was nothing special and it looked the same as a lot of other templates. Where is the sizzle --there was none.

Bottom line, I sent 1,000 referrals. Some of them were my landing page pop-ups with actual click-throughs, 2% to 5% CTR but most traffic was push ad click-throughs with the GEO segments he could legally handle.

The net results, were zero sign ups and zero paid in conversions. A total waste of my time that was a big loss the advertising was only $120.

Maybe you'll do better or maybe you'll do worse.
