Everything relates to what you need. You can call a tracking software a "tracker" but it should cover a lot more than just the tracking function.
Besides the fact that it should allow you to track all the traffic that you have, more importantly, it should allow you to apply all your marketing strategies and tactics that you can come up with, and with ease.

Last but not least, tracking is complex. Given the number of questions that are flying around, it is something that you need to understand in order to be agile, as opposed to fall into frustration.

Again, you have to look up the features, see what you need now, where are your pain points and envision where you want to be.
