I am interesting to start with affiliate business (promote other products through lending pages)

I make living through betting on sport(few years). Beating the bookmakers is very easy business. Problem i face are betting limits and bookmakers to avoid paying. Ther are only few bookies in world that don't kick out successful players, but to beat this bookmkaes is 1000 times harder. Professional bettors don't share knowledge between each other because we are competitors to each other (we can share only basic tactics). So my profit per year cant grow much more. So i am interesting to learn some new buisnes.

Do professionals affiliates share knowledge between each other (also the #dirty# thinks)?

I belive that in affiliate the moste inportant think is advertising.More you advertise more profit you get (if you advertise smartly).

Because i have some money with which i can live few years, I would put some money on affiliate. So i dont need to take out the money from affiliate to live. SO i plan just to reinvest all in adverising what I get out. So this way business grow much faster

We all need to pay taxes if we would make money through affiliate. For now paypal, neteller, skrill, ecopayz don't share data to governments. So if you do affiliate business with this methods you don't need to pay taxes till you make withdraws to bank account. Governments take a lot through taxes. So in some situation you can put in advertisement 2k$, and you earn only 1k$. So you are -1k$, but government see that you made 1k$ profits. So you need to pay taxes on 1k incomes. But if you keep money all the time on paypal, I would withdraw money on bank only when i decide to take some profits out. This way i would pay taxes only once on profits. For example, clickbank is very popular way to make money through affiliate, but like i know they pay only with checks. So you would need to pay taxes everytime you sell. So instead of putting money in advertising i would put it in taxes.

I am sure some guys out ther selling knowledge are good(in betting industry system/tipsters that sell, are 99% garbage). Normally the knowledge that is on sale is also free outside. Free stuff normally is better. I believe information on this forum is good, but for the beginner can be difficult to read information on forum correctly all the time, if you are not enough expert. Becouse first you need to learn basics and than you can make good logic conclusions. I prefer to listen to video and learn than reading books about affiliate busnes. Because I think affiliate is easier to learn from visual examples, because this way its easier to see/understand what exactly teacher wish to show/say.

This forum also makes money thru affiliate, becouse i see banners. So i don't know if i can ask next questions, becouse here everyone would like to advertise In youtube link i show a guy that owns website fourpercent.com He charge around 50$ per mounth for shering the knowleage. The price is so low that is not worth to discus. I belive ther are cheaper or more expensive products out ther. I liked this guy who speak on youtube (of course he exaggerate sometimes-claiming that no one else share sach information. I dont like people showing money, speak how much money is inportant in life.. Maybe this strategy works for mass population, but I am interested only how to make money. I am intereted only in facts. It is a waste of time to listen what you can buy with money. But although I think he may offer value). So i would ask if someone participate on fourperecent course, and if it was value for knowledge. Second question would be if you can advice to me some corses that bring a lot of value for learn about this business. It would be nice to tell why pick this corse, and not just to put affiliate link

Yes. I won't mention his name but I belonged to one of his programs about 7 years ago. I'll just say that he had to refund every single member to avoid something bad.

@luk81 , like you said, the information you're looking for is available for free. That said, I understand how it can be a little daunting when you don't know where to start.

So i will start with first question. How to decide what product to advertise? I have many qwestion that go under tis qwestion but for now i wish to ask simple (because to to many question no one will answer).

As opposed of you, I'm doing affiliate marketing (since 2005) and now trying to start out my betting career. It's the same mindset regarding money so I'm at least curious if I can make it work. Since I've started four months ago I'm only loosing money, but now I saw few things never worked and some that worked. Trying to do the former less and hope to make some profits from now on.

Regarding affiliate marketing you can do a lot of things to make money. Some offers/products do well with some traffic sources, some do well with anothers. But I always thought the right thing to do is to focus on one traffic type/source, learn everything you can about it, and then decide what to promote there. I like to work with traffic sources that you can scale, traffic wise and offers' wise, ones that wants my money and I don't have to make new accounts every week because they banned me. I know you can make a lot of money with FB and AdWords, but so with Native, Pops and Adult, and I never have to deal with their bans.

If I were to start again I would choose one of this: Native, Pops or maybe Adult. There are spy tools so you can copy the entire funnels and easily start your campaigns even if you're new to AM.

Pops are good for now because you don't need a banner, so it's one missing variable you must deal with and I think you need the leastamount of money to "play" a little with AM. If you choose few low paying offers with a few hundred bucks you can test many offers/geos and see for yourself if it's your thing.

Than comes Adult display (mobile or desktop) with let's say casual dating offers. Pick or ask your affiliate manager for a tier 2 or 3 country with good offers, spy (even manually with a VPN) for banners and LP's and start your campaigns. To tell you the truth everyone's stealing banners and LPs from the competitors so it's hard to have a stable campaign for a long time. Depending of the country, offers, traffic network you choose I don't know how much time it will take you to make profits, but I can assure you you'll see conversions and you can optimize a campaign without the need to loose a lot of money.

The most expensive is the Native route, you need a bigger budget. Many people say Native will be the future of advertising and maybe they are right. Here you can match the traffic with COD offers, beauty & health offers. It's on my To Do list.

If you want to start by choosing to promote an offer or product, choose an evergreen one, from these verticals: make money, health, relationships, gaming maybe. And then find what traffic sourced are suited for it, pick one, and start your campaigns.

But whatever you do, read first the "Success Stories and Bragging" and "Follow Alongs and Online Journeys" sub-forums and see what's possible and maybe one of these trafic source - offers combo fits you.

Then start your Follow Along and you'll get more help.

I know this thread isn't about me or betting, so it's my last post about this, but all your bets are like this? You only just search for this kind of bets, something like a betting arbitrage? I mean, you have no other strategy to bet, something like for example: inplay is better than pre-match, tenis or hockey are better than football or baseball, Over 2.5 goals is better than BTTS...
All your bets are like the one you said in your example?

i knew only this information at start, and than i learn all other tricks by my self. Also with information I give you, you can make a lot of money. But ther are better thinks than cover bouth sites nowdays for me. Inplay is harder but much more profitable. And yes this is betting arbitrage (you could do this also with cryptocurencys). You can bet any sport/market this way, just that is profitable
But before you start this, think what will you do when every bookmaker will limit your account to max bet 0 € $. To beat bookies you need matematical advantage. You should not try to beat bookies, but you should first know how to beat tham and than start betting.
Also in affiliate buisnes you can trow a lot of money in advertising at start, but if all other thinks are bad you will never make long term profits. Self education is the most inportant before you start a business.
I would write you more about betting but unfortunately this is not betting forum. And i tell you dont buy anythink (especialy systems) on net about betting, beuisne 99,9% is scam. And if you plan to bet on paid tipsters expect around 20% bankroll growth per year(99% tipsters are scam). And if you are not good at mathematic live betting, better for your money

I would be careful with earnings if the are *stored* with someone like PayPal.
The laws revolving around repatriation of earnings for tax purposes vary with your country of citizenship and residence.
Generally speaking, once that income is in the same country -- your country of citizenship or residence-- it is/may be repatriated and is taxable as income.

In the USA money held in foreign accounts or assets held in financial instruments (stocks, bonds, etc ...) need to be declared to the US Treasury -- foreign banks are reporting assets held by US citizens for some years now. IDK about brokerage houses ...

Sports betting will be legal in the USA in a while. Be interesting to see the regulations they will present ... In a year or two.

Paypal is grey area for reporting. And neteller, skrill and ecopayz dont report at all (i know this becouse of betting). I am sure you spoke a lot about this topic here when this come out few years back.

Still its not clear what the regulation will be, so I cant say its 100%.
You can target a lot of people to open bookmaker under affiliate link inUSa when the door will be open. Bet365 pay 25% of total loses to affiliates for lifetime no mother how many costumers you bring. No one in USA have bet365 account, and if 100.000 active players open account thur your affiliate links this mean . And if everage Joe lose 20$ per month. In total players lose 2.000.000$ per mounth under affiliate. This mean 500k$ in affiliate pocket every month.

I am guessing that the big players, people with current gambling licenses will have the inside edge.
Big payers do not need affiliates. They have millions to spend of their own on advertising on the web and on television, or whatever media is allowed by the forthcoming US regulations -- there will be a load of regs <= bet on that.

As for taxes: Nothing is illegal until you get caught ...

But wasn't online gambling allowed in U.S. many years ago, maybe until 2007?! Or it was online poker?! I remember people talking on forums about how they lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue each month when the new law forbid it and they lost their affiliate accounts. I was doing SEO at that time and people were talking about what a good business it was SEO -> Gambling sites.

There is no Federal law prohibiting gambling -- each State in the Union has gambling jurisdiction within it's borders.
Casinos, Indian casinos (on tribe owed lands [anywhere ] they are federal jurisdiction -- not the state's by treaty with the tribes), state lotteries, church bingo games for money ...

The problem is offering betting *across state lines* Really, offering betting in unregulated jurisdictions by residents of any state is the issue.
