Six Figure salary possible with adsense and affiliate websites only?

If I want to get really serious in this business, how would I attain six figures. I am still new though but I am learning pretty fast. What else should I add in my arsenal other than affiliates and adsense?

They should convert well though. I mean if I learn them, they should convert as much or better than affiliates with adsense.

The way many affiliates that make the big money do it is with Adwords or other PPC traffic and affiliate programs. However it takes a lot of learning. Don't attempt it without detailed training, which you can get for free via Adwords and PPC/affiliate blogs.

Also take note, there are a lot of things you can do as an affiliate that can get you banned from Adwords. One of the no-nos is advertising a site that has Adsense on, plus certain types of offers/affiliate programs will get you in trouble. So again, it's tricky and you really need to study up 1st. You can loose a lot of money fast if you aren't careful.

It's definitely possible, but it generally takes some time to get there. I know lots of marketers making six figures with AdSense and affiliate sites, and some with only one or the other. It takes hard work to get into that group, though, as I'm sure you know!

Yes, but most of those that I see reach those levels are hungry. They seek knowledge and then take massive action. They absorb everything.. they read everything they can get their hands on. They are energetic asking a ton of questions and getting feedback on their results.

They learn from others doing what they are doing. Surrounding themselves with other successful people. They don't come in with pre-conceived expectations. They come in like a new born baby ready to do whatever it takes to walk.

They work hard; they treat this like a business... they stay focused on one specific goal; they commit to it until.. not just for a little while and then when they don't get quick enough results or get frustrated by something moving on to something else completely different. If something isn't working, they figure out why and adjust.

How fast it happens.. there are so many variables. Everyone starts with different skill-sets and knowledge.. and every market, approach and method is different. Just try and find a good system that looks proven to work and go for it. And good people to learn from. Even a coach who can push you through those moments you feel like quitting.

Crap I knew I should have read adsense guidelines first before making my websites.
So it's illegal to have adsense on my website if I'm promoting products for an affiliate site?

Is that the way it is?

This is what it says on adsense. I bold the part where affiliates may belong. I'm currently promoting beauty products.

* Pornography, adult or mature content
* Violent content
* Content related to racial intolerance or advocacy against any individual, group or organisation
* Excessive profanity
* Hacking/cracking content
* Gambling or casino-related content
* Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia content
* Sales of beer or hard alcohol
* Sales of tobacco or tobacco-related products
* Sales of prescription drugs
* Sales of weapons or ammunition (e.g. firearms, firearm components, fighting knives, stun guns)
* Sales of products that are replicas or imitations of designer goods
* Sales or distribution of coursework or student essays
* Content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites or reading emails
* Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others

Maybe I don't fully understand it but it looks like it's ok to promote beauty products and have adsense on my webpage also. Is that the case? I'm so confuse.

YES you can have affiliate links and Adsense together on your site. What I said and maybe I wasn't clear, is if you drive traffic to your site using PAID Adwords ads and there are Adsense ads, then that's a problem. If you are not paying for clicks via Adwords, then it's a non-issue.

Linda, I wouldn't say you can't have Adsense at all. I don't have a problem having Adsense on adwords landing pages.. I think where people run into trouble is when their focus is purely on adsense arbitrage.. there's little other value in the landing page, or no other monetization..

..but that's just my personal experience.

It's much better to do white hat SEO on your affiliate site rather than spending on PPC ads on adwords, besides there are tons of ways that you can do "without the need of spending money" in driving more traffic on your site. for you to achieve that 6 digit income, all you need is relevant traffic to convert. the more relevant visitors, the more you can sell. basically all you need to do is:

- be on the first page of the SERPs (to drive more relevant traffic on your site)

it's hard to earn that 6 figure salary, if your page is not that popular. Nevertheless, it's really possible to earn that much with only adsense and affiliate programs. You can also try signing up for other affiliate niches and build them up to a new domain. the more websites you have, the greater chances of earning your target salary per month.

good, if you're going to think at all, think BIG as they say.

Now all you need to do is build a system to pin down good market niches, automate the process of building sites and content.. and as your income grows and your portfolio of sites grows.. outsource and get people to help you manage it all.

Making six figures is definitely possible. However, it is not going to fall into your lap from running a simple PPC campaign on Adwords or posting on a lot of forums with links to your website in your signature. It takes time and, most importantly, experience. It is very easy to pay a lot of money for a marketing campaign and then get discouraged when it doesn't bare the results you were hoping for. You have to be persistent and broaden your horizons to try a wide variety of ways to market your websites. Another good idea is to make a "hub" website that has links to all of your websites and descriptions of what each are. Also, make sure that you link all of your websites together so they can market each other.

I think it is possible I think Shoemoney had a picture of a check he was holding indicating this if I am not wrong. I found it increasingly diffeicult to maintain momentum with the changes in the program and I have had real good months with adsense but have since focused my efforts elsewhere gone where it is easier to make money with less effort.
