We're looking for a highly experienced programmer or team of programmers to build a website selling art work online.
What the Website Will Do
As you can see, this is a major project that will require both programming and design skills.
We don't have time to micromanage the project, so the work must be done by people who are self-motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty and pay attention to detail.
More important for us than a very low price for doing the work is that the project is carried out with extreme diligence and the finished website both functions and looks amazing. We expect the work to be done precisely to the specified requirements and to a very high standard, without cutting corners.
As this is a major project, we have a good budget to pay for the work.

What the Website Will Do
- Artists and designers can open their shop gallery with us (all the facilities are provided via shopsy or similar software)
- We sell their works
- Selected Charities can become affiliated with us. They can also applied online, but we decide if we accept them or not
- Buyers can buy art and design work through us
- Buyers can indicate a charity from our list to donate the commission he raised buying through us
- Buyer can suggest a charity. If this charity is not affiliate with us we will contact them
- We retain a commission for the sale
- We transfer 50% net of this commission (less tax and expensive) to the charity account the buyer has chosen
- We keep the other 50% of the commission for our expenses
The Scripts Used On the Website - We are going to use existing off-the-shelf software (Shopsy or similar clone of Etsy) for the vendor section
- We are going to use iDevaffiliate software to connect charities with us (or any similar affiliate tracking solution you prefer)
- Those two scripts need to be integrated into our design (design concepts will be provided by us).
- The website should be designed with an easy to use Content Management System
- The website should be in both English and French (no knowledge of French required)
- The vendor/ shop department should use a multi-lingual support (Shopsy script normally already have multi-lingual support in their software)
