Hello you very intelligent and wonderful people, i truly hope everything is going well for you and you have had a wonderful week.

I know with Google PPC marketing there is alot of factors that go into this, such as keyword research, landing page optimisation. I please kindly wondered what are the most important factors in scaling up a Google PPC campaign, so the budget can be increased and the conversions remain high please? If anyone kindly had any thoughts on this i would be forever grateful and thankful it would mean the world to me.

Sending you lots of good wishes and i truly hope you continue to have a wonderful and amazing life. Thank you ever so much for any support you can give. With the very best of wishes to you and hope you have an exceptional future.

Don't try to scale the keyword or long tail --try to scale the marketing segments that are the most successful. Meaning |the people (their personas)| what other things do these people commonly \buy\? Maybe, Google Ads could be used to segment Facebook traffic in order to scale multi-channel campaign?

The most important factor is having tested funnels from start to finish to find the ones that actually work well. You can only scale a tested and proven funnel.

Each offer has unique features and benefits and you first have to design the "copy" and copy flow for the funnel(s). This includes creating various angles, hooks, and triggers to test in the funnel(s).

Thank you very much for your wonderful and detailed response Graybeard, that was really kind of you. I truly hope you are doing well and everything is going positive for you.

I really appreciate you mentioning don't try to scale the keyword or long tail, try to scale the marketing segments that are the most successful. Meaning the people (their personas) what other things do these people commonly buy? I really appreciate your comments in relation to this, it makes perfect sense, thank you very much.

If you had an affiliate blog that was writing a review about the new iPhone 16, the positives and negatives of the phone. Then an affiliate link to another site where you could purchase it from. Can i kindly please ask if you was bidding on the keyword iPhone 16 within Google Ads to your blog and this was successful, could you not please scale this up say 100% from the previous months budget and see how it performs please? If you kindly had any thoughts on this i would be forever grateful and thankful it would mean the world to me.

You have answered a few of my threads on this forum Graybeard and your posts are always so helpful, so thank you very much for being such a kind and wonderful human being. Sending you lots of good wishes and i truly hope you continue to have a wonderful life and achieve massive success with your business goals. With my every best wishes to you.

Can anyone advise on where to find PPC webmasters? I represent an affiliate program on Impact and Admitad and am looking for partners in paid advertising channels such as Google and Facebook. The product is B2B (VPS and dedicated servers), with a payment model of $200 per order (if the order is below our average check, affiliates receive 100% commission)

Hey folks,

I’ve been running a few PPC campaigns (primarily Google Ads and a bit on Bing) in the finance and education niches. So far, the small-scale tests are profitable — decent CTR and acceptable CPA.

Now the real challenge: scaling without killing my ROAS.

I’m trying to balance between:
- Increasing daily budget without blowing up CPA
- Expanding keywords without diluting conversion intent
- Leveraging lookalike audiences vs retargeting

Would love to hear your approach when you hit that scale point. Do you optimize ad groups first or duplicate winning campaigns? Also, do you prefer auto or manual bidding at scale?

Any insights would help a lot. Thanks in advance!

Google is still a goldmine when approached properly. I spend a lot of my ad budgets on Google, over 75% of my budgets. One of the most important things I've had to adjust to over the recent five years, with Google especially, is the need to slowly increase budget a little slower than in previous years on a planned schedule and making adjustments along the way. It isn't that they hate marketers, they actually do love them, but they really don't like CPA style marketing and landers. Most all of my CPA side (about 25% of my business) is on social channels, but all of my content marketing is primarily Google. So I, like most brands, have to play the Google game the way Google wants it in order to maintain good relations with them while at the same time maximizing my brands performance ads.

Google red flags ad placements that suddenly scale big without warm up. Only because it is a possible indicator of an affiliate gaming their system in some ways to send their users to an affiliates silo of landers for CPA, et al. This can be largely avoided by a steady scalable increase in budget. In fact, once I got into the rhythm of it I found I received better results.

Hey! Really appreciate your kind energy—it’s refreshing

When it comes to scaling Google PPC while keeping conversions strong, the big keys are:

1️⃣ Tightly grouped keywords with matching ad copy (quality score boost = lower CPC).

2️⃣ High-converting landing page that’s fast, mobile-optimized, and matches ad intent.

3️⃣ Conversion tracking set up properly (use Google Tag Manager or native tools).

4️⃣ Start with manual bidding, then test smart bidding (like Target CPA) once you’ve got solid data.

5️⃣ Use negative keywords constantly to trim wasted spend.

Scale slowly: don’t double budget overnight—raise 20–30% at a time, track ROAS carefully, and always A/B test creatives. Hope that helps a bit!
