Hey guys I'm a newbie with affiliate marketing and I'd like to know whats the best approach to promote an online event. What's the best traffic source for this?
Thanks!!!!

@AlejandroDL46
  1. Register domain name
  2. Buy reliable hosting
  3. Install Wordpress
  4. Activate theme
  5. Install SSL certificate
  6. Add content
  7. Create a page about each speaker
  8. Add Google Calendar to website (embed)
  9. Add schema mark-up to website that tells Google its an event website
  10. Register social media accounts (as many as you can)
  11. Find a popular hashtag your audience uses - own that hashtag
  12. Add your website address to social media accounts
  13. Add social media icons to website
  14. Start posting blogs about the speakers - every day
  15. Use social media to promote blog posts (use speaker social media handles)
  16. Set up You Tube account
  17. Create teaser videos (30 seconds) about each speaker
  18. Embed videos in blog posts
  19. Promote videos in blog posts on social media
Another thing you can do is look at online summits and see what they're doing - and copy their tactics with your unique content

Once thing about speakers, they need publicity, so if your site and social media is at least professional (without many followers) they will share your content about them

Thanks for the quick response guys.
I've been thinking in doing Facebook and Adwords, but last year didn't performed very well so maybe native ads are a good possibility. Are taboola and Outbrain good options for this vertical? I know they are quite expensive for tier 1 countries.
Thanks!!!

It's an online summit. Due covid migrated from presencial event to online. It's targeted to female entrepreneurs and all the speakers are women.
Paid ads on;
Linkedin or Facebook might work.
You could try native on some high-profile business media websites like; Inc, Fortune, Bloomberg, if you have the budget for it.
Another possibility might be business interest email newsletters maybe.
