Seeking Help Problem with tracking cost in Bemob

Hi, I'm running dating offers with ClickAdilla, but the cost is showing differently in Bemob. In ClickAdilla, I paid $0.1131 for 15,684 impressions, but in Bemob, 87 visits cost $0.142, which doesn't make sense.

ClickAdilla confirmed I'm using the right token for the cost in campaign URL (cost=[COST]), so the issue seems to be in Bemob. I also blocked Google referrals, but the cost difference is still there. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix? Thanks

Data Restoration and Interpretation: Where Do the Differences Come From?

Now, let’s work through a math problem, and everything will become clear.

At ClickAdilla:

  • Total Clicks: 90
  • Total Cost: $0.1131
  • Average Cost Per Click (CPC) = 0.1131/90≈0.001257
At Bemob:

  • Visits Received: 87 (This means 90 - 87 = 3 clicks failed to trigger Bemob’s tracking due to network errors, users closing the page instantly, etc.)
  • Displayed Total Cost: $0.142
  • Average Cost Per Visit Calculated by Bemob = 0.142/87≈0.001632
Conclusion: The two cost figures differ because they are divided by different denominators!

  • $0.1131 is the total cost you paid for all 90 clicks.
  • 0.142istheresultofBemobaccumulatingthecostperclickforthe87successfulvisits(i.e.,87visits∗averageCPCof0.001632 ≈ $0.142).
Bemob does not directly use the total cost but accumulates the cost based on each passed visit. Due to some clicks being lost, the total cost data between the two platforms cannot be directly matched.
