Post-conversion events

So, an event is simply an event both before, and after, the "money" conversion. It is simply tracking what occurs.

Ad clicks, email optins, arrival to the lander, the money click, the thank you page options clicks, additional banner clicks that may be integrated, clicks back to the original ad page, clicks events of any type.

They are simply events that are tracked to give you data you can act on in specific ways. You can have additional events associated with an ad click, or an email optin, or a landing page popup, etc. etc. etc.

Many post conversion events include upsells, or retargeting options, and the list goes on. Some marketers have very tangled webs of data tracking through events in order to refine a campaign and/or funnel in order to add more options for the user.

Anything you track, or introduce, can have many event tracking options. Just depends how sophisticated your marketing has become. Marketers are always growing and expanding their tracking efforts by creating additional events.

If we are talking about an app which has the conversion pixel for just install+open, post conversion events could be inapp purchases, uninstall, membership upgrade or anything else the app owner has put in that app.
post conversion events are defining LTV of that app so app owner can decide how to manage and invest more.
