Hi guys,

I just finished my first affiliate marketing site, directing traffic to a seller of a sports good with some decent keyword activity. Not present in any Google search results in any meaningful way so far.

I would like to be able to make a living by doing affiliate marketing. I enjoy the work and the freedom of working from wherever, don't need to make any fortunes to be happy.
Then I can retire earlier, a bit bored with working for a paycheck. So I am here to learn.

All the best

Hello and welcome to AffiliateFix!

I just finished my first affiliate marketing site

That's great, congrats on getting started!

That's potentially fixable. You may find some very helpful tips in both the SEO forum and @Honeybadger 's thread: How to rank top of Google in 24 hours

I would like to be able to make a living by doing affiliate marketing.

This is certainly doable but it won't happen overnight. You need a specific goal, a plan and a budget if you're going to buy traffic/advertising.

Check out some of Honeybadger's threads, he made it to $10,000 (just under) in one year and is continuing to increase his business income.

You might also want to check out the Follow-Along Journey forum and the Guides and Tutorials forum. Those have some great information!

You don't have to reinvent the wheel, there are some wonderful examples and blueprints here in the forums.

So I am here to learn.

Fantastic! Our community model is one of learn and teach, so you've come to right place. We'll help you in any way that we can, you just have to let us know when you have questions.

Enjoy the forums! :)
