Niche dilemma

So I got started with aff mkting about 1 year and a half ago. I've been on and off because I don't really enjoy selling "illusions". I generally like to sell stuff that helps people, and imo sweeps, adult and others don't do that.

I'm still learning a lot, so I don't know what "value" niche I should choose to begin with. Hope to see some good recommendations from you guys.

People buy things based on both the tangible value; (food, utilities, toiletries) and things based on some peer status; (automobiles, clothing, housing) --what they have in common is that they fill a basic need.

Then there is the third status --real or imagined; information, lotteries, nutra, cryptocurrency, snake oil of all types.
