Hi,

I'm a newbie to this.
I have had a little success with one Facebook ad.
I managed to earn $2,000 in one month from one ad.
That's what got me hooked.
Needless to say, every thing else I have tried had failed!
I'm using a system called The Power lead system and their Power Blog which is WordPress site.
Can any one tell me if I would need to use a hosting company to for the website?
I plan to use Facebook paid ads for my marketing
I would to to hear from anyone who has any advice on paid ads and stuff.

It's a great feeling to have early successes. More will come!

Everyone has failures every day. We are always testing new things, revamping old things, and failures are a part of it. This teaches you lessons in the process. What may work for one campaign may not work for a different campaign.

YOU MUST HAVE A VPS or BETTER!

Can I ask what a VP is and what would be better?

TJ said:" 'VPS' Virtual Private Server "

That is a server that is virualized in a common server.
A VPS is a separated operating system that only you have access to.
A VPS has dedicated hardware resourced allocated to only you.
This is a middle ground between a account on a shared server (bottom) and a dedicated or co-lo (owned or leased) servers (as in racks).

  • Shared server = apartment (zoo)
  • VPS = You own a condominium
  • Dedicated or CoLo = Free standing home (villa)
Best analogy for someone unfamiliar.
I have a shared server now, what would be the advantages to using a VPS?

Hi
Ok, will do.
I'm willing to try anything.

Upside: speed, availability, security, separate resources, unlimited use of databases or other server daemons you set up.

Downside: more expensive (usually), technical knowledge required if the VPS is not 'managed'.

Major difference: You make the rules -- control with a few host imposed limitations.
