Wondering if I am looking to meet new people and build a team for my affiliate program, would that require an upgrade in my membership?

Welcome Andrew. The posting error is pretty common for new accounts — most forums throttle activity until you hit a minimum post count, so just keep engaging and it should clear up on its own.
On the team-building question: you don’t necessarily need an upgraded membership to connect with people here. Most partnerships start through thread replies and DMs. That said, if you want to post in the recruitment or marketplace sections, some forums do require a higher trust level or paid tier — worth checking the forum rules section to confirm.
