i have registered to a program with zanox called goldsoon.
the program is selling gold for wow games. u get a % of the sale made.
on the daily reports i saw i was doing very well so i kept investing more time and money into it.
after the second month ended i found out that they rejected 50% of my sales!!!
i got very angry and asked for explanation and that was the answer for the process of the sale:
Firstly, the client makes an order on the website by giving his account name in the game. ? This is where u have your pixel telling the publisher :you made a sale (and u also get the amount of the sale and your %)
Then once goldsoon gets this order, both merchant and client meet in the game to do the trade.
? in this part of the sales the client can :
? 1. not show up to the meeting with the merchant ? then the sales is rejected
? 2. show up and buy a different amount then the one he noted in the goldsoon website ? then the affiliate gets a different amount from the ones in his reports.
? 3. make the purchase as he ordered in the site ? the sales is confirmed.
Then every month or half of month zanox is waiting for the merchant to confirm the real sales
Then only at the end of the month you reject and approve sales.
i am saying that this procees is more of a gambling then affiliate program, as the affiliates need to invest money but they can never know what the sales are.
what do u think?
