How many internal & external link should I place on my 2000 word blog? Is there any standard limit?

I think they dropped that 100 rule in Google Webmaster Guidelines late 2016 brother.

I've seen Wiki pages with over 300 on occasion. Just think of how many are on Amazon and EBay too. Different sites, different requirements. I typically use one inbound for every two paragraphs as a rule, and half (or less) as many outbound links. For me, the key is balance based on need. My primary focus is always a great, or awesome, communication with my audiences. The content, when highly valuable and properly presented, will always generate a greater SEO value than the links.

A blog with only 2k words, I'd say 5 to 10 is really pushing it tbh, imo. You are likely closer at 5.
