I have been using image maps for LP's for the past few months. It makes it easier, faster, and cheaper for me to create the LP's. Recently Luke P set me up with an introduction to some folks at Bing so that I could start to explore my CPA biz with Bing Ads. The person I was introduced to intially asked me to review my LP's with a member of his team, a optimization specialist. He told me not to use my LP's as they were because they were image maps and they would get a low quality score. So I said to him, "if I have these converted into html so that the text can be read, will that satisfy you?". He told me "NO". He wanted a lot more text on the pages and told me that the simple landing page designs I am using simply won't cut it on Bing.
I've been using these simple LP's on 7Search and I am about to start using them on POF.
1. What is your opinion & experience with LP's on Bing?
2. What is the disadvantage of using image maps for landers?
