I was thinking more in terms of affiliation with a specific (unnamed) vendor selling licensed goods. Or, Ebay or Amazon maybe?

That would probably be easier, cheaper and safer.

You have to apply for licensing and you usually have to pay royalties, in addition to the license. Going through one of those as an affiliate would probably protect him from any legal crap, too.

Affiliation with a responsible entity eliminates risks.
