I'm not starting from zero at all in iGaming affiliation. I already have some practical experience (2 years), tested a few campaigns (not sure i can list vendor links here).
I have access to a very large consent-based iGaming audience/database, mostly EU, CA, AU, and NZ. It includes email, phone, and some additional data for segmentation and personalization.
So far, I tested simple email and SMS campaigns. The results were good, but I feel I’m probably using the data in a very basic way and not getting the full ROI from it.
I'm not looking to spam anyone or break any rules. I'm trying to understand the most professional and compliant way to monetize this kind of audience.
For people with more experience in iGaming: would you focus more on direct deals with operators, affiliate programs, experienced media buyers, or something else? And what are the biggest mistakes to avoid when working with this kind of data?
Any advice would be appreciated. I think this topic could be useful for other affiliates with the same situation too.
