Ok guys, I could really use some help. I've started a payday loan website, and we're looking to partner with some affiliates such as credit cards, credit repair, debt consolidation, etc. My main area of focus is credit cards at this point. From what I've learned on the site here and through my own research, you can't really contact these creditors directly to get affiliated, you have to use a site like CJ, linkshare, etc. Is this correct?

If so, what can I expect from these companies? Do they contact the credit card companies for us and connect us so we can send them leads for clients who opt in or cannot qualify for our payday loans? I'm new (obviously) and having a hard time getting a clear cut answer through my research today.

Is there any additional general advice you may have? We have someone who has created the website already who has created many successful sites in the past. Any help is GREATLY appreciated since we're in the infant stages right now. Thanks a million to all of those whom reply!!

JM,

I own several payday sites and you can contact these people directly. Sometimes it is just easier to work through networks or ad agencies representing them because of the hassle. Most of the time if someone wants these products and they agree to move forward you can either "pre-populate" their site with the info you already collected and the customer just has to hit "submit". This will be their site with your affiliate link so you can track conversions.

You can also use a company like boberdoo dot com (easy to use) to "ping/post" these companies leads. So basically you've already collected the data from the payday application and they have "opted in" on your site for these offers. You then in real time would ping the company with the required fields/ contact information.
