HTML rookie question

I am placing 2 small square clickbank ad banners (html) in a text box. The ads are showing up OK but are stacked one on top of the other. Is there any way to make them be side by side by adding some more html?

I'm not great at stuff like that. There are 3 ways. Html, CSS or tables. Google knows all. https://www.google.com/search?hl=&q=html+side-by-side+images

You can post that portion of code here if you wish (wrap code tags around it before submitting: highlight the code and then click on the # icon above) but most likely you need to expand the width of the area "text box" containing the ads.
