welcome to UK WW. You site looks good, it also a niche, which is very good. Here are a few site promotion tips:
1. Do a press release about your site, get it released through professional PR distributors.
2. Contact bloggers in that niche and let them know about your site.
3. Participate in forums and mention your sites (like you have just done here)
4. Submit you site to web directories.
5. Encourage your members who have website to link to your site.
6. Exchange links with other networking sites in your niche.
7. Consider hiring a link builder to build links for you if the fund is available.

For point 1, have a good read around about press releases. If you are unsure, ask get a PRO PR writer to do it...
