How to Manually Scrape URLs in Details Please?

Hello,

1. Can an expert please advise what's your process of manually scraping urls for your campaign in details and what exactly is Deep URL targeting?
For example, say it's a dating offer for Men 40s Professional Dating (UK, US, CA, AU). Like what keywords do you key in on google and how do you identify which is relevant or not?

2. How do you find sites of similar demographics and how can we target gender for PPV lead impact

3. Lastly, is it wise to actually bid on dating sites such as eharmony, match.com and similar offer sites. Is it too broad and my thoughts are if they are already in a dating site, why would they sign up to the one you are offering?

Thanks so much!

it's not scraping if you do it manually ;)

Just put yourself in the shoes of (in this case) a 40+ male looking for a date/partner/relationship and start searching. Just type in your searches and see what sites come up. Save the most relevant urls in an Excel or someting. if you have enough urls go and check them in Alexa/Quantcast to see if they match your target audience.

If you want to see age, income, children, ethnicity, gender, education and browsing location in Alexa you have to get the insight plan, which is $49 p/m

Sure, if you get the right angle ;) Getting the right angle is something you have to figure out for yourself. This is where your creativity comes in!

1. the fastest way is go to magicurlscraper and type in the keyword you're searching, in this case type professional dating. then for example when you get a url like a url here (sorry can't post url under 10 post), enter site:yoururl in magicurlscraper to get the "deep urls"
2. your best bet is to take a look at each site to make sure it's related to your site, you can also take the url to google keyword tool to take at look at the demographic. for gender targeting, how about a lander with a girl image on it and say something that positions it's for man, or vice versa
3. why not, people are always looking for a better site, which man doesn't want "more" alternative fishes? just know that these ones tend to have more bidders, so expect to pay more for your bid.

p.s. with a good lander, it's easy to make it convert

make it easy :
1 - search for your keyword in google (UK/US/CA/Au ..etc google for each country to get better targeted results)
2 - collect it in a Text File
3 - analyse those URLs in Alexa to know if they have some traffic ..

Thats method I use, it can get u highly targeted traffic. You can build specific landing pages catering to the site you are targeting to get higher CRs.
