How do you know you’re not being shaved on a CPA model?

How do you usually tell if you’ve been shaved?

There’s really no reliable way to know for sure — beyond conjecture.
If you’ve been running the same offer long enough, you might spot patterns (like sudden drops in conversion rates or EPCs that don’t match your traffic volume). But in most cases, it’s just guesswork.
Sometimes paranoia looks like caution in this business.
