Yes you can but you have to be smart. Never direct link, never make false claims. Always have your legal pages and disclaimers.
I have years of experience with financial trading offers. What has always worked is the method/education angle. Find a trading strategy online, package it in a video or PDF and use it as a bribe to collect emails. Then send am email sequence to convince them to switch brokers with your link.
A twist on this would be to have them switch brokers before they can download the video or PDF, but this takes a lot of convincing. I've made it work in the past, so it's worth trying.
Be aware that most regulated brokers don't allow this, so your best bet would be offshore brokers.
Another option would be to promote premade funnels/offers like the Bitcoin Code or Bitcoin Revolution. Pro would be less effort and a sales/telemarketer team in the backend to get the conversion. Con would be it's kind of shady and you don't collect he emails yourself.

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. Please apply for membership using a personalized email prefix. Something like bob@xxxxx.com.
If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
