integration service. In plain english that means we run automated software tests
on behalf of our customers
Our USP is speed - we reduce build times of 15+ minutes down to ~30 seconds by
running all tests in parallel.
The target market is software teams of 5+ developers with ~15 builds a day. We
charge our customers $445 per month.
The ROI is excellent; given:
- a team of 5 developers
- with 3 commits per day
- and average build time 15 minutes
The monthly cost in down time is: 75 hours waiting time * $55/hour = $4,125
By reducing the build time to 30 seconds, we're offering a saving (in developer
costs) of $3,625.
So the proposition is straight forward: spend $445 - gain $3,625 in developer
time (for a team of five). Also, this saving does not take into account the
opporutunity cost of wasted developer time.
On the marketing front, we'll build the landing page & you run the ads. (You can
A/B test alternate landing pages if necessary.)
I'm a software developer selling to other software developers / CTO's, so I can
offer insight into the target market channels: e.g. tech newsletters, ad
networks, LinkedIn InMail demographics etc.
We're offering $445 CPS. After 30 sales we're offering 40% revenue share for
three years.
