Thanks James, appreciate the advice — that's the plan. Been reading through the traffic threads already, plenty to learn on that side.

On the Skyscanner/Kayak question — fair one, and the short answer is we're not in the same category. They're metasearch: they sell the click and hand the user off to whoever ranks that day. We're the actual booking platform — search, payment, ticketing and after-sales all happen with us.

For affiliates that changes the math. Metasearch pays per click; we pay 2% of the order total on completed bookings, paid out after the trip is flown. Flights are a high-ticket item, so one international booking can be worth more than a pile of redirects. And for people with a personal brand — travel bloggers, advisors — the itinerary the traveler receives carries the partner's name, not a generic OTA template.

Not claiming anyone out-aggregates Skyscanner at their own game. Different tool, different job.

Thanks Yamamoto, and good tip — having that answer ready, so here it is: Skyscanner and Kayak are metasearch, they sell the click and pass the traveler to someone else's checkout. We're the actual seller — booking, ticketing and support happen on our platform. So partners earn 2% of the order total (paid after travel) instead of per-click pennies, and the traveler's itinerary can carry the partner's name rather than an OTA template.
