Have you had a chance to check the e-Comm and General Affiliate Marketing forums yet? There are tons of threads and other forums that are specific to methods, types of traffic, etc., too. If you're a complete newbie, you should start with the threads that @VirtualGlobalPhone posted for you. They will give you the basics to build your affiliate education on.
