The Firefox version I use doesn't get popups. In fact, most modal windows, warning pop ups on session time-outs, need my permission to appear.
I occasionally see a new tab pop but I don't frequent websites where that occurs (usually). My biggest issue is some websites refusing to show me content because I am blocking tracking like G-A, FB Pixel or their paywall BS ... etc --there are alternatives where this is not a problem.
WaPo, Bloomberg, NYT get parroted on Yahoo news without the 5 article limit So, I see the native ads Yahoo sells --so? Who wins in the end?
