I actually has strong tips for the horses that came 1st and 2nd - I would have followed the tips and placed bets except I couldn't get into my online bookmakers account. Bloody internet! That should teach me ... the net is not always the best way to get things done!

We once nearly cleaned out the tiny bookie at the back of the Working mens club when a load of my wife's family backed a horse that my brother part-owned and had tipped to win ... almost felt sorry for him
