Overview: The affiliate marketing manager will lead the strategy and development of online affiliate marketing programs. This person will be responsible for managing networks of for cost-per-action (CPA) affiliates to increase distribution of online tee times and other golf-related businesses. This position will be expected to meet monthly revenue and cost goals and regularly report on their progress.
The affiliate marketing manager will proactively recruit new affiliates, negotiate contracts and commissions, manage affiliate relationships, process monthly payouts, and analyze and enhance affiliate performance. Working closely with the online marketing team, sales team, and technology teams, this person will identify and implement solutions to increase revenue opportunities through affiliate relationships. The affiliate marketing manager will also work closely with third party affiliate networks (e.g., Commission Junction) to grow our program.
Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of affiliate marketing program for GolfNow.com, Golf Channel.com, and related properties
Identify prospective affiliate relationships
Continuously identify new revenue opportunities to grow existing affiliate partnerships
Manage third party affiliate networks (e.g., Commission Junction)
Ensure program compliance
Forecast, monitor and analyze campaign performance on an ongoing basis
Reconciliation of monthly commissions
Minimum Requirements:
4 year college degree preferred
2 years experience managing affiliate marketing programs
Expertise in using affiliate networks (e.g., Commission Junction) and managing online creative
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Campaign planning (Forecasting and budgeting) experience
Basic computer knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently as well as with other department members
First-rate project management and time management skills
Golf knowledge a plus
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
