I have created a website and am going to manage it on a non-profit basis. The reason being as myself being a senior youth worker for my community of 10,000 in London I wish to start up many small projects to cater for the youth and community of North London. These projects althhough provide alot for the youth, are very costly. I came up with the concept of setting up a scheme where we ask fro $1 donations a month. The idea of this is it is so minimal that most people will give. The $1 is broken down into 60% donated to charities, 10% - set up the FE Trust Fund, 20% referral payments, 10% admin costs.
The program will pick 4-5 charities a month to distribute the funds for. This program is designed to help small charities raise their awareness and raise funds. My expertise lies in youth and community work, not internet marketing. I do feel that the only way this program will succeed is if you support us in this non-profit project. If you could advertise this to your membership base and encourage them to make monthly donations it would allow us to help a lot of people togather.
