I'm an experienced web developer with skills in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, Javascript and AJAX. I've worked on some really cool "Web 2.0" style projects and am currently working freelance in the UK.
I also run a web hosting business called Digital Crocus - offering affordable VPS web hosting in the UK. Our system is custom-built from the ground-up in PHP, C and Javascript, we use FreeBSD as our operating system and Apache as our web server.
In my spare time I'm a keen photographer - I like to photograph the changing landscapes around the UK. On my personal portfolio you can find a selection of my photographic work, including my main project which is on an area of the UK called Cuckmere Haven - a place of outstanding natural beauty and of significance at the moment due to rising sea levels, coastal erosion and the government's limited budget to spend on flood defences.
