Earning with Afflow (Monetizer) + Zeropark and Voluume

Hi,

I've just watched this movie:

and can't figure out how it works and if it still works.

Can you please explain me it?

I think it works like this:
1. Afflow and Monetize are connected now to the one: "Montetize".
2. I need to be a Publisher on Monetize and create a link.
3. I need to be an Advertiser using Zeropark and buy test traffic for my link.
4. I'm testing all of it using Voluum.

Am I right? Is it legal? Can I earn something doing this? Looks a little like using two competitive websites to earn money and I can't fully understand it.
