Hello AffiliateFix members,

I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to start an affiliate campaign for my website. What kind of conditions or incentives would attract affiliates and encourage more people to work with me?

You already registered your service here, you can also register your affiliate program here. Read the requirements again. You will need a professional affiliate portal accessible through your site. There are many services that integrate into your site and manage the onboarding of affiliates for you. They are not expensive and very worthwhile. You will find most forums have this requirement and all of the professional affiliates will require it also.

Hello AffiliateFix members,

yeah, launching an affiliate campaign can be a smart move, but it all comes down to how tempting you make it. If you’re offering peanuts or slow payouts, no one’s gonna touch it. Affiliates want fast money, offers that actually convert, and the freedom to run traffic the way they know works. You start putting restrictions or paying out once a month, and they'll be out before they even start.
I’m with ActiveRevenue — we work with a ton of media buyers who live off CPC and CPM traffic. If your offer’s decent, that’s one way to get eyes on it fast without begging affiliates to join. But if you're serious about building your own team, just make sure the terms don’t suck and the tracking’s tight.

what’s the site about anyway? and are you aiming for paid traffic guys or more content and influencer types?

So something like 35% - 40% and daily payout should be great position to start ? my payment gateway already has an affiliate program system could i use your network to promote it ? i'm looking for paid traffic and also hope it will improve my seo ranking if people put my link on some forum or anything else ! My website is a web interface that automatically build SMTP server on a VPS with a domain name !

Thanks for sharing this topic. I’m still learning how affiliate systems work because I have a website to driving in traffics

Starting an affiliate program can absolutely drive traffic — but there are a few things that determine whether it actually works:

1. Commission competitiveness — affiliates have dozens of programs to choose from. If your payout isn't attractive relative to the effort required, you won't attract motivated promoters. Research what similar products pay.

2. Promotional tools — give affiliates everything they need: banners, swipe copy, email templates, and most importantly, clean trackable links. Affiliates lose confidence quickly when tracking is messy or when their ugly raw affiliate URLs get flagged by browsers or email clients.

3. Cookie duration — 30 days minimum for anything with a longer consideration window. 7-day cookies kill affiliate motivation for content-based promoters.

4. Real-time stats — affiliates want to see their clicks and conversions in real-time. If they can't see their data, they stop promoting.

One thing I've learned building and running cutwin.com (a URL shortener/monetization platform): the link experience matters enormously in affiliate marketing. Affiliates who use branded, clean short links see measurably better CTRs than those with raw tracking URLs — especially for social and email promotion.

What type of website is this for? That would help narrow down which affiliate recruitment channels make the most sense.

For start you need to offer generous revshare for partners, also it depends on your traffic category. Anyway, you can try it

setting affiliate program is always a good idea, but think twice if you have enough budget to run it because it's not about paying revshare
