Different Between Window 7 and Window 8 ?

Please tell me what is the different between Window 7 and Window 8 and what is the features in Window 8.

The main difference is that Windows 8 is more tablet PC oriented, other differences are less essential and concern mainly design. Also one of the main differences is that Windows 8 is the only OS, supporting DirectX 11.1.

To be perfectly honest, in my day to day use, I really haven't noticed any difference between 7 & 8. One of the things I do like is the much improved boot times. I use SSD storage for my machine and the Windows 7 boot time was around 1 minute, which wasn't exactly slow. With Windows 8, I can boot to the desktop in around 20-30 seconds. Perhaps this will save electricity and people will turn their PCs off more?
