Crypto vs local payments for gambling and forex projects

I’ve noticed many gambling and forex projects are increasingly using crypto payments.

At the same time, in some regions users still prefer local payment methods or traditional processors.

Curious how operators currently structure their payment setups.

Are most projects moving toward crypto-first models or still combining crypto with local payment methods depending on GEO?

Interested to hear what solutions are currently working best.

From what I’ve seen, most projects use a mix crypto is growing fast because it’s quick and avoids chargebacks, especially in gambling and forex, but many users in certain GEOs still trust local payment methods more. So a lot of operators run crypto as the main option, but keep local payments for specific countries to improve conversions
